The Pinata Party is an event that occurs in-game whenever a certain voting goal is reached.
The amount that needs to be reached differs from server to server.
You can join the Pinata Party by doing the command /warp Pinata, or by walking to the Pinata area in the server's spawn.
The goal of the Pinata Party is to hit the Pinata as many times as you can before it disappears.
You will be able to see a number above the pinata, indicating how many hits are left before it disappears.
Every time you successfully hit the Pinata you will receive a reward, as well as when the Pinata dies.
The rewards you can get from the Pinata range from crate keys to diamonds, in-game money, and much more.
The Pinata Crate can be located near the entrance to the Pinata Party arena.
You can earn keys to this crate by participating in Pinata Party.

Currently, the Pinata Crate (and by extension Pinata Keys) is only available on Survival and Towny.
Each server has a different amount of votes needed to start a Pinata Party.

The remaining amount of votes needed to start a Pinata Party is displayed on the Scoreboard on the right-hand side of the screen.
When the required amount of votes is reached, there will be an announcement in chat letting everyone know that a Pinata Party has started.
