MineSuperior endeavors to provide a network where players can enjoy their time in a safe and welcoming environment.
To help achieve that goal, the following list includes actions that are prohibited across all our servers.
By playing on the network, you agree to abide by these rules, and if not, face varying punishments.Make sure to stay up-to-date with the rules below!

Our staff are volunteers who generously donate their time towards keeping MineSuperior a great place to be.
Please don't be disrespectful towards our staff for decisions they make.
If you think that we messed up, let us know in the discord using our feedback channels, normal support tickets, or a staff report when appropriate.
When a player lies to, misleads, or otherwise attempts to intentionally deceive a staff member to protect themself or another player from punishment - or to falsely incriminate another player.
When a player abuses or misuses: /helpop
, the support ticket system, or our support staff.
Spamming comes in many forms:
When there is excessive swearing, continuous insults between players, or targeted/derogatory/demeaning interactions.
Content is considered inappropriate when it can be associated with illegal activities, drugs, sexual activities, anything 18+ in nature etc.
This rule is applied at the discretion of our staff members; if you wouldn’t say it to a family member, don’t say it at all.
When a player says an offensive slur, or otherwise engages in behavior that targets any person/group based on protected characteristics.
Such characteristics include, but are not limited to: gender, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability.
All abbreviations, connotations, and builds, in addition to actual slurs and hate speech are covered by this rule.
In addition to the above, combinations and/or alterations to the spellings of slurs are also considered as offensive/racial slurs.
For example, altering the spelling or combining the soft-r or hard-r n-word with any other words is not allowed.
When a player tells another player to harm themselves in any way, or otherwise threatens another player’s real-life well-being and/or safety.
Advertisements come in many forms:
Examples of Allowed Advertisements:
When a link is posted in chat, that is malicious in nature; such as links that lead to inappropriate websites, hacked clients, etc.
When a player leaks their own personal information, such as their address, full real name, phone number, etc.
When a player threatens or attempts a Denial of Service attack against another player or MineSuperior.
When a player leaks, or threatens to leak, another player’s personal information that the player has not consented to.
Such information includes, but is not limited to: legal info, email address, phone number, IP address, etc.
This rule covers malicious defamation of one's real-life character without sufficient backing evidence.
Players are not allowed to spread false rumors or defamatory remarks that can be considered as "libel" in a US court of law.
When a player solicits other users for personal gain by sharing referral codes, personal/affiliate links, or promoting external services for rewards or benefits. This also includes links / information for places that users can send you money.
This also extends to promoting or sharing links to services that are 18+ in nature and require users to pay money to access, such as gambling and poker websites.
When a person impersonates (or attempts to impersonate) another person (staff / player), server message, or the server itself in any way.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
When a hacked client or disallowed modification is used by a player to give themself an unfair advantage in game.
When using tools or methods that provide an unfair advantage, or otherwise unfair abilities.
This includes but is not limited to:
Pertains to allowed advertisements (ex: player warps, etc).
This rule does not apply to our Lifesteal server.
When the teleportation command is used to trap or kill a player.
This also includes player warps.
When items are taken without the permission of the claim/build owner, or when buildings and/or land is destroyed or altered without permission.
Other forms of griefing include, but are not limited to: lava-casting.
This also applies to purposefully griefing the End Dimension's main island on all servers.

When a bug or exploit is abused.
Common examples of exploits include, but is not limited to:
The only exception to this rule is when you are showing a staff member the bug or recording a video of the bug to send to a staff member.
If you find a bug in the game that can be exploited, please report it immediately. Any additional testing and investigating will be done by members of staff.
When something in the game is used in a way it was not intended, this includes but is not limited to:

and other ways to kill the boss quicker by avoiding damage or fire / water delay.
When players agree to a trade, and one person fails to complete their side of the deal,
or when a player is otherwise dishonest in any interaction in-game that involves in-game items or currency.
This includes Auction House scamming, for example: Posting renamed containers on the Auction House that do not contain items as advertised.
On Lifesteal this is allowed; except when performing IRL deals or trading keys across servers.
When a player does something that can (or does) crash the server, significantly impacts the server’s performance, or player connections.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Players who cause lag may have their (actions / builds) altered or removed without compensation.
When a player dupes, or attempts to dupe any item or currency within the game.
This includes any duplication machines for items.
This includes, but not limited to: string, TNT, crate keys, etc.
When a player threatens legal action against another player or the server.
When a player performs a chargeback, or threatens to perform a chargeback.
This extends to encouraging other players to chargeback.
When a player plays with, assists, or otherwise collaborates in any way with a blacklisted player.
When a player plans to participate, or does participate in, an IRL Deal that does not involve trading in-game items or currency for purchases off of our webstore.
If you wish to borrow money from another player, or wish to allow other players to borrow your own money,
there are extra rules you must follow in addition to the scamming rule. They are as follows:
You are not allowed to restrict a staff member’s access to your claims.
If you do not want them there for any reason outside of staff-related reasons, let them know or make a Staff Report.
If a player breaks a rule, they should be reported immediately.
We will not accept evidence of something that happened over 3 months ago unless it is a serious offense.
When one player sells / resells another player’s map art without their explicit permission.
You must receive direct confirmation from the owner/creator of the map art if you wish to sell it.
The following rules apply to all casinos:
On Survival, the casino must have the claim flag ViewContainers
(/setclaimflag viewcontainers

On Skyblock and Towny, players can ask to see what's inside.
Map art may contain QR Codes if the following conditions are met:
When a player blocks a claim from expanding or performing other actions that make nearby land unsuitable for use.
On Towny, this also includes surrounding a town with claims when it is about to fall.
When a player (or alt account) continues to enter another player's claim after being restricted from entering it.
This includes using player warps to circumvent restrictions.
On Towny this includes being “outlawed”.
